Ms. Gutierrez joined the Texas State University School of Social Work faculty in 2015 as a Clinical Lecturer. Ms. Gutierrez earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Western Oregon State University, a Master in Social Work - Administrative and Community Practice from the University of Texas at Arlington and is currently a Doctoral Candidate at Our Lady of the Lake University in Business Leadership Studies. Ms. Gutierrez has over 20 years of professional leadership experience in public and not for profit administration with progressive experience in business operations, employee relations and organizational management. She brings expertise in program and grant management of social service programs. Ms. Gutierrez teaches courses in policy practice, administration, professionalism and diversity.
