Dr. Jennnifer Vasquez, LCSW-S

Dr. Vasquez is a Licensed Clinical Social Work Supervisor (LCSW-S), NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM) Therapist, Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP), International Association of Yoga Therapy (IAYT-C) Certified Yoga Therapist, and Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-500) with a specialization in trauma. She is a full-time Lecturer and the BSW Field Coordinator at Texas State University School of Social Work, as well as an Adjunct Professor in the MSW program at Our Lady of the Lake University Worden School of Social Service, where she earned her Ph.D. in Social Work.

Dr. Vasquez serves as Co-Chair of the NASW-TX Women’s Issues Committee and is an NASW member and member of the Society for Social Work and Research (SSWR), Council on Social Work Education (CSWE), Somatic Experiencing Trauma Institute (SETI), US Association of Body Psychotherapists (USABP), Texas Society for Clinical Social Work, and the National Society for Leadership and Success. She draws upon over 15 years of practice experience in the fields of trauma, interpersonal violence, addiction, and healthcare in her work. Dr. Vasquez’s research focuses on trauma and addiction.
